Statement from Prostration Pilgrimage Group - South Korea
We the members of the Prostration Pilgrimage Group send our heartfelt greetings and peace to all marching today at the Peace Walk for Burma.
Since 2007, we the Prostration Pilgrimage Group in Korea have been on a journey to seek the road for humanity, life, and peace. On this journey, we had a chance to gain invaluable experience with Maung Zaw, a Burmese democracy activist and to share the self-sacrificing activities and efforts towards democracy and peace for the people in Burma.
Somebody else cannot bring peace to us. When we ourselves keep the peace, we ourselves will be able to grow seeds of peace so that they will become a basis for world peace.
If we ourselves grow peace in our souls and make long strides towards the road to humanity with the eye of life and peace, we will finally make the world more beautiful.
The desire for democracy and a world peace has grown with the historical development of the world. Together with every step you take forward, the hearts of the Prostration Pilgrimage Group will be together with all of you.
We wish you continuing strength and passion for victory and democracy in Burma.
In solidarity,
